 Please make sure to bring proof of vaccinations (you are able to upload records through our app prior to drop off), your pet’s regular food (preferably in a resealable container), any medications, vitamins or supplements with detailed instructions and in the original bottle/packaging, bedding for them to sleep on, and anything else that will make them feel more at home. We have bedding available for all pets if you cannot bring their own.

For dogs:

• Rabies
• Distemper and Parvovirus: distemper, hepatitis, parvo, and parainfluenza per your veterinarian’s protocol. (May be listed as DHPP or DHLPP on your pet’s medical record when administered as a combination vaccine.)
• Bordetella: (6 month or 1 year vaccine accepted) Bordetella prevents against some strains of Canine Cough and Pawsitive Vibes Pet Resort does everything possible to reduce the risk of your pet getting Canine Cough. However, the vaccine does not prevent against all strains, and just like the human flu, there is always a risk when in an environment with many dog.

 Although we do not have any staff at the facility overnight, we do have 24-hour surveillance throughout the whole facility. It allows us to monitor the pets and the kennel when we are not here. That’s why we offer our exclusive Kennel Cam service! With our Kennel Cam, you can check in on your pet during our designated viewing times, anywhere, ensuring they are happy and well-cared for during their stay.

 Yes! Though dogs that have not been spayed or neutered (except for puppies less than 6 months of age) may not be able to participate in all group plays, they can still have a great time playing with limited pet friends or privately with a member of our staff. However, we can’t accept females in season or within 10 days of a heat cycle.

Yes! We recognize that some dogs are more “people dogs” than “dog dogs.” We absolutely can take your dog if they would prefer to be on their own, and we will make careful note not to socialize them and to just give them extra love from our staff.

If your dog is “dog-aggressive,” we have a very strict protocol for handling them. We will have only our most senior staff members handle them, and any time we move them around the facility, we will have all our other dogs in a secure run or area to remove any possibility of interaction.

If your dog is simply a little shy or hasn’t gotten much practice socializing, that’s okay too! Our introduction process for our pups is incredibly safety-oriented. All our intros are done on leash; our groups are small to maximize staff oversight; and our team is trained on dog body language to quickly detect signs of stress, frustration, or potential aggression. All of our playgroups are monitored at all times.
