What sets us apart from other kennels is the truly outstanding level of care we give to our clients’ dogs. We are not “doggy-storage”- we go way above and beyond just giving your dog a place to stay. We see to it that your pet is as comfortable as possible while in our care. Of course there’s no place like home, but we make it our goal to be the next best thing. It's not enough for the dogs to just do "ok" or be "fine" when they are with us. We work to help each and every dog to thrive, so they come home to you happy, tired, and content after a long day of healthy, appropriate play, social interaction, and positive behavior.
Meet the owner Anna
Before Anna opened Pawsitive Vibes Pet Resort in 2023, Anna already had a long, established history working with dogs professionally. She didn't open a doggie daycare just because she loved dogs and thought it would be "fun" - she knew that she had the experience and knowledge to carefully design a daycare that would truly maximize the enrichment of your dog's behavior, mind, and body. Our policies and protocols are all aimed to meet this goal, and we continuously learn and evolve to make the experience even better.
Our Staff
Anna spends multiple days training each staff member on the nuances of dog play behavior, helping them identify appropriate play, showing them how to effectively interrupt inappropriate play, and most importantly, anticipating inappropriate play and stopping it before it even starts! She also has experience as a veterinary technician, as a pet care associate, and as a rescue volunteer. These diverse roles have given Anna a unique ability to effectively coordinate all the pieces that come with running a boarding facility- one minute she might be solving a problem with a new dog's anxiety, the next she is answering questions about complicated vaccination rules. Anna is truly a jack of all dog trade. When it comes to maintaining a low-stress, harmonious environment for large numbers of dogs, experience matters.
